The die is cast. The rematch between Georgia and Alabama in the National Championship is coming. Alabama is currently on a 7-game win streak against Georgia after last defeating them in the SEC Championship 41-24. Though Georgia was undefeated throughout the season, Alabama made defeating them look easy.

Georgia has been building a strong program. They have surpassed many hurdles, but the last one is defeating Alabama. To reach the pinnacle of the mountain, Georgia must overcome the best team i

Stats That Matter: Georgia 34, Michigan 11 – Bulldawg Illustrated

The Georgia Bulldogs have redeemed themselves in the eyes of college football world by defeating Michigan 34-11. This secures a spot for them in the CFP National Championship. Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines were unable to penetrate Georgia’s defense. Michigan could not stop Georgia’s high-powered offense. Another all-SEC Championship highlights the difference in quality between the SEC and the other conferences. Without any doubt now, the top two teams in college football are Alabama and Georgi

Stats That Matter: Georgia vs. Alabama – SEC Championship

The SEC Championship did not turn out well for the Georgia Bulldogs, but not all is lost. Georgia was selected to go to the college football playoff, and their opponent will be the Michigan Wolverines, led by coach Jim Harbaugh on December 31, 2021, in the Orange Bowl. If that game goes well for Georgia, the Dawgs could get a rematch against Alabama in the National Championship on January 10, 2022. This can still be the Georgia team that win the Dawgs their first National Championship since 1981

Stats That Matter: Georgia 45, Tech 0 – Bulldawg Illustrated

With the wrecking of Georgia Tech now complete, the Georgia Bulldogs have gone 12-0 for the 2nd time in history. The previous time being in 1980, when Georgia won the National Championship. The stars have aligned, now for the next phase of the quest, the Dawgs must defeat Alabama in the SEC Championship.

Alabama barely survived Auburn in the Iron Bowl. This highlights the importance of putting Alabama away quickly and making sure Alabama can’t get back in the game. There can be no mistakes agai

A look back at what decided the game between Georgia and Charleston Southern

It was a bittersweet game. This has been such an extraordinary and entertaining group of guys. To watch these seniors play their last game at Sanford Stadium was tough, but fans can be proud of this seasons accomplishments. These seniors have led the team to be undefeated in the regular season, to be ranked No. 1 in the country, and to the SEC Championship where they will take on the No. 2 ranked Alabama Crimson Tide.

Stats That Matter: Georgia vs. Tennessee – Bulldawg Illustrated

A look back at what decided the game between Georgia and Tennessee

The Bulldogs had their largest points deficit of the season when Tennessee quickly scored in the first quarter to take a 7 – 0 lead. Josh Heupel had his team prepared. The Dawgs kept grinding, and in the end, crushed the Volunteers 41-17. Tennessee may have struck first, and struck fast, but the Dawgs showed no mercy, the Kirby Kai way. The win against the Vols clinches a perfect SEC record for the Dawgs, which has not happened

Stats That Matter: Georgia vs. Auburn – Bulldawg Illustrated

The Mailman delivered! Another Saturday, another dominant Georgia win. Though I am supremely confident in the Dawgs moving forward, in order to avoid the possibility of hubris, we must recognize that this is not the Auburn team Georgia fans have been used to. Bryan Harsin is in the first year of his tenure as head coach of the Auburn Tigers, replacing Gus Malzahn, which puts Auburn in a semi-rebuilding phase. Bo Nix had flashes of brilliant play, but was inconsistent, which pundits are critical

Stats That Matter: Georgia vs. Missouri – Bulldawg Illustrated

A look back at what decided the game between Georgia and Missouri

Another Saturday, another victory in the books. Though Georgia was missing some key players, neither the offense, nor the defense, seemed to skip to a beat. The Dawgs are inching closer to their long-expected clash with Alabama in the SEC Championship, but there is still football to be played. It is important for the Bulldogs to remain focused on the week ahead. The football season is a marathon, not a sprint. Unexpected things h

Stats The Matter: A look back at what decided the game between Georgia and Florida – Bulldawg Illustrated

After a distasteful defeat by Florida, against a depleted Georgia team in 2020, the Dawgs mailed their revenge, stamped by “The Mailman” himself, Stetson Bennett IV. The win over Florida, coupled with Kentucky’s loss to Mississippi State, clinched the SEC East for the Dawgs. Georgia will be going to the SEC Championship!

In the SEC Championship, Georgia will likely go up against the Alabama Crimson Tide. Looking at the statistics from Georgia’s routing of the Florida Gators, fans cannot help bu

Another week, another Georgia victory, this time over the undefeated Kentucky Wildcats led by quarterback Will Levis. Mark Stoops had his team primed and ready. The game was close going into halftime until the Dawgs broke away in the 3rd quarter. Kentucky plays a physical game, but they could not match Georgia’s physicality in the end.

Now, Georgia must look ahead to the October 30th matchup against the hated Florida Gators. Florida, coming off a loss to LSU, will be looking to rebound against
